Kind of research is observational analytic cross-sectional approach. This study population is a student UNS. Sampling is done with Cluster Random Sampling system of 9 samples from each of the existing Faculty of the UNS. Assessment of PMS events conducted by questionnaire and measurement of nutrient intake using a food form records. Hypothesis testing is done by Multiple Logistic Regression test (α = 0.05) by SPSS 16.0 for Windows.
Logistic regression test results indicate a significant relationship between carbohydrate intake (p = 0.043), fat (p = 0.031), vitamin B6 (p = 0.011), vitamin E (p = 0.044), magnesium (p = 0.038), and calcium ( p = 0.039) with incident STDs.
From this research can be concluded that there is a relationship between nutrient intake with incident STDs.
Keywords: nutrient intake, PMS, women of reproductive age.
Estimates for the prevalence of STIs is about 5%.
